Data Engineer

Requirement and Qualification (Education & Work Experience)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or Information Technology/Accounting

5 years of experience as a developer and/or data engineer preferably for the banking sector and financial services sector.

Experience in data technologies and systems such as SQL, PowerBI, Python etc.

Experience in Azure DevOps.

Experience with Azure Data Ecosystem with tool such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Azure Blob storage, Azure SQL Databases and PowerBI

Experience in setting up DataMarts

Able to liaise with relevant IT teams to develop effective solutions.

Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English.

Experience working with ITIL and/or Scrum/Agile frameworks.

Preferred:

oExperience in developing infrastructure and deployment automation scripts for Azure environments.

oCertificates on the Azure platform such as AZ-900 and/or DP-900 and up.

oNumerical, analytical and ability to take decision based on data analysis.
