Role: Data Engineer
Location: Makati City
Schedule: 9AM-6PM
Work Setup: Hybrid (3x RTO & 2x WFH)

Job Responsibilities and Experience:
- 3 to 5+ years in one or more of the following- Data engineering, Big Data, and Data warehouse development.
- Knowledge of insurance and financial industry data is an advantage.
- Proven experience working in Agile (Scrum) project methodology is strongly recommended.
- Technical proficiency for Big Data & Data warehouse technologies (Apache Nifi, Apache Hive, Apache HBase, Apache Spark).
- Technical proficiency for programming languages (Scala and SQL).
- Other nice to have technical skills (experience using JIRA in an Agile (Scrum) project to document Epics, features and user Stories, experience using Bitbucket, or similar GIT source version control system is appreciable, and experience using Sonar Cube is a nice to have).
- Ability to confidently facilitate group sessions and workshops.
- Demonstrated experience in data warehouse development.
- Ability to develop highly scalable solutions for large datasets.
- Excellent technical requirements gathering and documentation ability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively.
- Understanding of data analytics techniques is an advantage.
- Regression analysis
- Correlation, time series forecasting, and supervised and unsupervised machine learning.
