Job Summary
The Data Automation Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated data workflows across multiple business systems. The role combines technical expertise in Power Platform tools (Power Query, Power BI, Power Automate, and Excel) with hands-on scripting in Python to streamline data processes, ensure accuracy, and improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using Power Query within Power BI and Excel.
- Automate workflows and data refresh processes through Power Automate.
- Create Python scripts for data transformations, integrations, and process automation when out-of-the-box connectors are not available.
- Integrate and synchronize data across multiple systems, including those without APIs.
- Automate file transfers and data exchanges via FTPS or similar methods.
- Troubleshoot and enhance automation scripts to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with business teams to identify automation opportunities and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Maintain documentation of workflows, connections, and data flow logic.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience using Power Query (Power BI and Excel) and Power Automate.
- At least 2 years of experience using Python for data manipulation and automation.
- Has background in data integration, Excel automation, and ETL best practices.
- Experience automating FTPS transfers and working with systems lacking APIs.
- Clear and coherent both written and verbal communication skills in English.
Work Location: WFH within Philippines only
Work Schedule: 9 PM to 6 AM Mon to Fri Philippine Time
