THE JOB
The Data Analytics Head is responsible for leading the design, development, and management of KwikCare's data infrastructure and analytics strategy. This role ensures that data is accurate, timely, and effectively translated into actionable insights to support business decisions across sales, marketing, operations, actuarial, and strategic planning functions.
KEY RESULTS AREAS
1. Create and Manage Data Infrastructure
- Develop and oversee the company's data architecture, including data warehousing, pipelines, and integration systems.
- Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance with security and privacy standards.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to maintain a scalable and reliable data ecosystem.
2. Produce Accurate and Timely Data
- Establish data collection, validation, and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Implement data quality control and performance monitoring tools.
- Provide timely dashboards, reports, and analytics to support decision-making across departments.
3. Provide Insights for Business Functions
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for sales, marketing, operations, actuarial, and strategic planning teams.
- Partner with business leaders to identify key metrics and develop predictive and prescriptive analytics models.
- Drive data-driven decision-making culture within the organization.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Math, or a related field.
- At least 810 years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in SQL, Python/R, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker), and database management systems.
- Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end data solutions.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience in the healthcare or insurance industry is a strong advantage.
