Data Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and experience in Excel, VBA, Power BI, and SQL to support data-driven decision-making. This role involves data extraction, analysis, visualization, and reporting to improve business processes and strategies.

Salary Offer: 50K base pay

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based reports, including the use of VBA macros to automate workflows.
• Design and implement interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Write efficient SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data from databases.
• Identify trends, correlations, and patterns in data to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reports and dashboards.
• Manage daily KPI tracking and reporting to monitor business performance.
• Continuously optimize and automate reporting processes to improve efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with other BI tools like Power BI.
• Experience working with cloud-based databases (e.g., Azure, AWS, Looker).

The role primarily involves data extraction, analysis and visualization. The expectation is for candidates to have prior experience with Excel (including VBA), Power BI, and SQL, as they will need to work independently. The role requires hands-on experience as the clients do not have much time to conduct extensive training.
