About The Role
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining risk databases while formulating techniques for efficient and quality data collection of data systems.
How you'll contribute
- Designs and maintains Risk data systems and databases, including fixing of coding errors and other data-related problems
- Mining and re-organizing data from primary and secondary sources in readable format via data processing programs and reporting tools such as SAS or other similar software
- Collaborates with various data owners or processors through regular discussions to have a better understanding of the data infrastructure and reporting requirements
- Performs analysis to assess data quality through trends and patterns
- Partners with Risk Officers, Business, Credit and Operations, and Data Governance on strategic initiatives for data
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's or College degree holder
- At least 4 years of relevant experience
- Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, and data mining techniques
- Must be proficient working with data programming software/tools such as SAS, R, Python
- Has the ability to analyze and organize large amounts of data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work towards meeting multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Thorough understanding of management and data administration duties such as collection, analysis, distribution, and governance
