Data Analyst

A Data Analyst is ideal for a business that generates a significant amount of data but needs help making sense of it to drive growth. Examples include: E-commerce stores, Subscription-based services, Digital marketing agencies or businesses that rely heavily on web traffic, campaigns, and conversion data.

Primary Goal

A Data Analyst collects, cleans, and interprets data to provide actionable insights that help businesses make informed decisions. They transform complex datasets into clear reports, visualizations, and recommendations to support strategy and operations.

Key Responsibilities

● Data Collection & Management: Gather data from internal systems (e.g., CRM, POS, website analytics).; Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.; Maintain and update databases or data warehouses; Clean and preprocess raw data for analysis.

● Data Analysis & Interpretation: Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.; Perform statistical analysis to support decision-making; Compare historical and current performance metrics; Identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency.

● Reporting & Visualization: Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights clearly; Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for management or clients; Translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations.

● Strategic Support: Collaborate with leadership to define key performance indicators (KPIs); Support business strategy by providing data-driven insights.

Experience 2+ years experience + minimum Bachelors degree is Accounting or Finance

Core Tools & Platforms (Required to have intermediate to advanced skills with at least one tool from each tool type)

● Collaboration: Google Workspace, Microsoft 365

● Communication: Slack, Zoom, Google Meet, Loom

● Data Analytics: BigQuery, Python (Pandas)

● Data Aggregation: Airbyte, Open Refine

● Business Intelligence/Data Visualization: Tableau, Airtable, Power BI, Looker Studio
