Role Overview
We are seeking a Mid Level Data Analyst who thrives on solving complex business challenges using data. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, operations, and marketing teams to deliver actionable insights to enhance key business areas such as pricing, supply-demand matching, customer retention, and many more.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in data cleansing projects to correct, standardize and validate large datasets
- Design and build semantic data models to enable self-service data analytics and interactive dashboards
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover user behavior patterns, identify growth opportunities, and support strategic decisions
- Design and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to measure the effectiveness of product and operational changes
- Communicate insights and findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels, from executives to frontline teams
- Contribute to building dashboards for visibility and optimization of core ride-hailing functions (e.g., ETAs, pricing algorithms, dynamic matching)
- Document data analysis pipelines and contribute to data governance policies
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data wrangling using Python or R. Preference given to Python
- 2-4+ years of experience in business intelligence or data science
- Proven experience in data modeling for interactive dashboards using large and complex datasets
- Experience working with large-scale data using BI tools(e.g. BigQuery, Grafana, Superset or similar)
- Solid understanding of experimentation and causal inference (A/B testing, regression discontinuity, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and influence decision-making
Nice to Have
- Experience in the mobility or logistics space
- Familiarity with geospatial data and route optimization
- Experience with dashboarding tools (e.g. Looker, or similar)
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Data engineering experience
