What does a day in the life of a Data Analyst look like
- Collect, clean and interpret datasets
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns and correlations
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data for stakeholders
- Maintains data integrity and security
- Create and maintain documentation of data analysis processes and findings
- Assist in developing and optimizing data collection and analysis procedures
- Continuously improve knowledge of products, services, and processes by participating in training programs and continuous learning modules
- Collaborate with other departments as needed to resolve issues
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and colleagues at all times
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Meet or exceed performance targets for related KPIs
- Perform other duties as assigned
What are the required qualifications of a Data Analyst
- 3+ years of experience in a data analyst or related role, preferably in a call center environment
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, such as spreadsheets, SQL, etc.
- Experience working with APIs and MS SQL for database integration.
- Above average communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using computers and various software applications.
- Familiarity with contact center platforms such as Five9, Genesys Cloud, NICE, Amazon Connect, or Ring Central
