Data Analyst is responsible to transform data into actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making across the organization. In this role, you will develop and maintain reporting solutions, validate and analyze datasets for accuracy, and partner with stakeholders to drive efficiency and performance. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of the company's data ecosystem, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Job Reporting and Data Management
- Design, build, and maintain reports and dashboards in Zoho Analytics to support multiple business functions.
- Conduct regular data audits to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability across systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing reports while implementing improvements for scalability and efficiency.
- Export, clean, and prepare data from multiple sources, including sales, purchasing, warehousing, and shipping systems.
Business & Sales Analysis
- Revebue & Growth Trends - Track and interpret sales performance over time, including seasonality, channel mix, and geographic patterns.
- Product & Category Performance Analyze product performance, contribution margins, pricing/discount impact, and inventory turnover to identify growth opportunities.
- Customer & Market Insights Segment customers, evaluate repeat vs. new buyers, assess lifetime value, and conduct competitor benchmarking.
- Profitability & Efficiency Compare forecasts vs. actuals, track returns/deductions, and measure efficiency metrics (e.g., sales per employee, ROI on marketing spend).
- Provide insights and reporting for special projects and executive initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data-driven improvements.
Ad Hoc
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned either individually or as part of a committee
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Experience working in a product-based company (consumer goods, retail, or similar environment)
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Statistics or any related field
- Strong background in data collection, cleaning, and analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, charts, and modeling).
- Intermediate proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation.
- Familiarity with Power Query and/or Power BI for data transformation and visualization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Amenable to work onsite at Santana Grove, Paranaque City
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Analytics for report building and automation is a plus
