Cybersecurity Manager

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday | Flexible Working Hours (typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Manager to lead and develop our cybersecurity operations team in the Philippines. This role will oversee a team of approximately 15 Cybersecurity Analysts responsible for supporting both internal business operations and client environments across the APAC and EMEA regions. The successful candidate will be a strong people leader with proven experience in cybersecurity operations, team management, talent development, and performance coaching.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & People Management

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of approximately 15 Cybersecurity Analysts.
• Drive employee engagement, performance management, and career development initiatives.
• Conduct regular coaching, training, and skills development programs to enhance team capabilities.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and talent retention initiatives.

Cybersecurity Operations

• Oversee day-to-day cybersecurity monitoring, incident response, threat detection, and security operations activities.
• Ensure effective execution of security processes, procedures, and operational standards.
• Monitor team performance against service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and operational objectives.
• Collaborate with global IT and security teams to strengthen the organization's cybersecurity posture.
• Support cybersecurity governance, risk management, vulnerability management, and compliance initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and operational efficiencies.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with internal business units and global IT leadership to align cybersecurity operations with organizational objectives.
• Provide regular operational updates, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to the Global Head of IT Operations.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives across APAC and EMEA regions.

Qualifications:

Required Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Cybersecurity Manager, Security Operations Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Proven experience managing cybersecurity professionals and leading security operations teams.
• Strong people management experience, including performance management, coaching, mentoring, and employee development.
• Experience overseeing cybersecurity operations within enterprise or managed services environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Technical Knowledge

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and security operations.
• Familiarity with Security Operations Center (SOC) functions and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Experience working with cybersecurity tools, monitoring platforms, and security technologies.
• Understanding of cybersecurity risk management and compliance best practices.
