Job Summary
The Cybersecurity Administrator is responsible for safeguarding the organization's IT environment by managing security tools, identifying vulnerabilities, and supporting risk management and compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and operate Qualys, utilizing its integrated cloud-based security applications to identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities across networks, systems, and applications.
• Perform continuous asset detection and inventory management to ensure full visibility of on-premises, cloud, and hybrid IT environments.
• Conduct risk management activities by analyzing vulnerability data, prioritizing remediation based on risk, and tracking risk reduction efforts.
• Support compliance management by implementing security controls, monitoring policy adherence, and generating reports aligned with regulatory and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, SOC 2, HIPAA).
• Collaborate with IT, infrastructure, and application teams to coordinate vulnerability remediation and security improvements.
• Monitor dashboards, alerts, and reports to identify security weaknesses and potential threats.

• Candidate should have 1-2years of experience with Qualys, including vulnerability management, asset discovery, risk assessment, and compliance modules.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based security platforms and automated security operations.
• Knowledge of risk management frameworks and vulnerability prioritization techniques.
• Experience with asset detection and inventory across networks, systems, and applications.
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements and security control implementation.
• Understanding of networking, operating systems, and common security vulnerabilities.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM, or Qualys certifications.
• Experience with SIEM, endpoint security, or cloud security tools.
• Prior experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a strong advantage
