The Role
As a Customer Success Manager at DesignGuru, you'll be the trusted partner to our growing client base the friendly voice that turns new subscribers into long-term advocates. You'll guide businesses through their design journey, helping them unlock the full potential of their subscription and achieve results they didn't think possible. Your goal To make every client feel confident, inspired, and excited about what they can create with their DesignGuru team.
What You'll Be Doing
Your day-to-day will include:
- Onboarding new subscribers with warmth and clarity helping them understand how to brief effectively, use our platform, and get the most value from day one
- Building lasting relationships with a portfolio of 40-50 active clients, checking in regularly to ensure they're thriving (not just surviving)
- Coaching clients on design best practices sharing insights on how to write better briefs, provide effective feedback, and maximise the impact of their design output
- Spotting opportunities to upgrade their subscription when their needs evolve, whether that's adding more design capacity, exploring premium services, or adjusting their plan
- Monitoring account health through usage patterns, feedback scores, and engagement metrics proactively reaching out when clients need support
- Being their advocate internally working closely with our design teams, quality control, and operations to ensure every client receives exceptional service
- Handling renewals with care preparing clients well in advance, celebrating their wins, and making the renewal process seamless
- Solving problems creatively when issues arise, you'll stay calm, find solutions, and turn potential frustrations into opportunities to strengthen the relationship
- Gathering insights that help us improve our service you'll be the voice of the customer in product and process discussions

- Are curious about design you want to learn about trends, understand what makes effective design, and share that knowledge with clients
What Experience You'll Need:
- 2-3 years in Customer Success, Account Management, or Client Services (agency or SaaS experience is a plus)
- Proven track record of managing client portfolios and driving retention
- Experience with CRM systems (we use HubSpot) and customer success metrics
- Strong commercial awareness comfortable discussing pricing, upsells, and renewals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bonus: familiarity with design, creative services, or subscription business models
