Job Summary

In charge in the execution of efficient service delivery of basic new accounts functions, opening of deposit, account maintenance, acceptance of supplies and accountable forms from HO, and other services rendered at the new accounts counter, in the branch of assignment, either temporary or on permanent basis, with emphasis on the observance and compliance of regulations whether internal or external, bank policies, procedures and the code of ethics.

Job Description

  • Services clients and greets all clients transacting at the counter with a smile and warm disposition using the standard greeting spiel for frontliners. After service is rendered to the client, verbally expresses thanks with a smile
  • Executes regular and assigned functions in strict adherence to existing rules and regulations, whether internal or from regulators and delivers the services in a timely, competent and friendly manner.
  • Acts as a primary holder of Vault teller user ID as designated by the BOO and validates cash transfer from/ to Vault and Cash Center in BDS-SIBS system subject to officers override.
  • Acts as alternate custodian of keys and combinations, as may be designated by the Area Head, in accordance with the custodianship matrix of the bank.
  • Primarily responsible in establishing the true and valid identity of the clients transacting at the teller's counter with special caution in establishing the identity of clients effecting withdrawals, encashing checks and transactions done by a representative.
  • Makes cash requisitions based on anticipated cash requirements for the day and transfers cash to the vault at the end of the day or as soon as there is excess cash vs limit over the counter. Ensures that transfers and requisitions are supported and based on duly accomplished, validated and approved cash transfer slips.
  • Verifies cash received from vault including the contents of the picos to ensure accuracy of cash on hand
  • Accepts and receives cash, check deposits and various payments over the counter for both peso and FCDU accounts

Qualifications

  • Graduate of any 4-year degree course
  • Good communication skills both English and Filipino
  • Experience in basic branch frontline functions-preferred
  • Minimum Rank: Level 3
  • Maximum Rank: Level 6
