Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will spend your day designing, coding, and improving software components tailored to meet unique business requirements. You will collaborate with team members to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient solutions, applying modern development methodologies and frameworks. Your role involves continuous engagement with evolving project needs to enhance system performance and functionality. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective software solutions. - Maintain and improve existing software applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability. - Document development processes, code changes, and system configurations to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance. - Assist in identifying potential risks and propose mitigation strategies during the software development lifecycle. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition. - Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns. - Experience with application servers and deployment of enterprise applications. - Familiarity with relational databases and writing efficient queries. - Understanding of web services and integration techniques. - Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition. - This position is based at our Manila office.
