Writes Credit Due Diligence Report for Corporate Banking accounts and provides comments regarding Credit Proposal information that should be presented to Credit Committee (CRECOM), in order to make the proposal clear, complete and accurate, fully compliance with Branch's Guideline as well as regional headquarter and parent bank's implementation rules.
Conduct independent assessment for account review due to negative news, material adverse event, thematic portfolio review and as required by management.
Review credit analysis of Financial Statements of accounts. Validate prepared Financial Spreadsheet and Financial Projection, if necessary. Review frontline's inputs for credit rating and evaluate the reasonableness of the rating result independently.
Review group/borrower's credit history through looking at the bank's own records/credit folders to note past credit experience with emphasis on loan repayment and major credit issues in the account, if any. Collect information of account status and credit strategy at peer banks.
Interpret and analyze credit documents such as Credit Investigation Report and Appraisal Report which contributes to overall assessment of creditability and collateral quality.
Coordinate and facilitate the pre-clearance meeting for new account / new facility and prepare the minutes accordingly.
Conduct industry studies for Risk Appetite of the Branch and support preparation of credit guidelines issued by Risk Management Department.
Safe keep credit folder for signed documents during credit review in line with department operation manual and SOPs.
Keep abreast of the latest policy / regulatory requirements and risk appetite from regional headquarter and Parent Bank.
Conduct compliance checking on credit accounts, including but not limited to: compliance with approval conditions, periodic review of KYC information, SBL, AFRD, approval credit limits, appropriateness of credit rating, loan classification and provisioning levels, etc.
