Job Description

We're looking for a Credit Risk Manager to join our Credit Risk Management team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to provide quality financial and administrative services to a select block of challenging cases.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Credit Analysis & Reviews: Contribute to cross‑desk credit reviews, evaluate credit ratings, assess risk quality, identify emerging risks, and document findings in formal reports.
  • Portfolio Oversight & Stress Testing: Oversee bonds, commercial mortgages, and alternative investments through stress testing, scenario analysis, reporting, and presentation of results to senior management and governance committees.
  • Risk & Capital Impact Assessment: Conduct what‑if, multi‑factor, and reverse stress tests to assess credit migration, losses, earnings, reserves, and capital impacts under stressed macroeconomic conditions.
  • Stakeholder Support & Tools Management: Perform ad‑hoc stress test analysis for investment leaders and support the ongoing maintenance and data updates of stress testing tools.
  • Ad‑hoc Research & Market Risk Monitoring: Produce independent industry and credit research on topical issues while monitoring economic and market developments to identify emerging risks.
  • Policies & Procedures: Assist in reviewing and updating investment policies, guidelines, and related procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in credit research or credit analysis.
  • A degree holder in Business, Economics or Finance but undergraduates are welcome to apply.
  • Excellent data analysis skills using large spreadsheets. Ability to summarize a large amount of data into concise reports and presentations for senior management.

  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Collaborative approach and strong interpersonal skills
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) applications.
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
