Job Description
The position is primarily responsible for evaluating the status of
corporate and commercial loan accounts on a post‑approval, sampling basis in terms of repayment capacity and compliance with approved credit terms. The role aims to enable management to take prompt corrective actions, prevent further account deterioration, and assess the unit's compliance with established credit policies and procedures by identifying lapses, exceptions, violations, and other potential risks before they negatively impact the safety and soundness of the loan portfolio.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Assess the portfolio quality of the borrowers via classification of accounts based on internal guidelines.
- Validates the risk rating/credit scorecards performed by Account Officers during portfolio reviews and the report discrepancies and/or errors in rating, if any, for eventual correction.
- Ensures that all data, information required for clearing, report preparation are encoded/presented in the Credit Review Sheet of each account.
- Monitors assignment in actual portfolio review of a lending unit which includes ensuring all credit folders, other loan related documents are available.
- Prepares the Credit Portfolio Review Report after every review engagement.
- Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- Graduate of any 4-year business course.
- At least five (5) years of experience in credit origination, account management, and/or remedial management, preferably involving corporate and commercial loan accounts.
- Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Makati/Ortigas.
