Credit Officer

As a Credit Officer, you will manage collections, payment processing, and account reconciliation while handling customer queries and supporting sales requests. You'll ensure accurate financial records and timely follow-ups to maintain healthy cash flow.

The Qualifications We Seek

• 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit, or related finance roles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting, reconciliation, and account management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle customer and stakeholder queries professionally

Your Daily Tasks

Collections & Customer Accounts

• Handle collections through email, inbound, and outbound calls, including follow-ups on outstanding balances
• Send dunning letters for overdue accounts and prepare monthly statements of account
• Manage customer account queries, including payment reconciliation, invoice copies, credit notes, disputed invoices, and refunds

Payment Processing & Receipting

• Process credit card payments accurately
• Perform payment allocation, manage unallocated payments, and submit TRF requests

Sales & Account Support

• Handle off-stop requests and sales representative change requests
• Escalate accounts for FDL and legal action, and participate in aged debtor meetings
