Credit MIS Risk Officer

The Credit Risk MIS Officer shall support the Portfolio Credit Risk Department in enhancing risk management capabilities through database development, process automation, model enhancement and validation, and dashboard creation. The role involves designing and maintaining a centralized database, developing and backtesting credit risk rating and ECL models, creating automation scripts to optimize operational processes, and leading the development of a credit risk management dashboard.

The Credit Risk MIS Officer will be responsible for the following:

Build and manage a centralized credit risk database covering key files such as Monthly Exposures, Total Credit Exposures, Risk Ratings, and Probability of Default (PD).

Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline departmental processes, improving accuracy, productivity, and reporting efficiency.

Support credit risk model development and validation, including documentation, performance assessments, bias checks, and enhancement recommendations.

Lead the creation of a comprehensive credit risk dashboard to provide actionable insights for management decisionmaking.

Assist with other creditriskrelated initiatives as assigned, supporting the broader functions of the Portfolio Credit Risk Department.

Job Qualifications:

• Preferably graduate of mathematics / statistics / data science / IT-related courses; Graduates of business courses can be considered if there is strong aptitude in math.
• At least 2 years work experience in automation, data processing, and software programming, specifically in R or other languages.
• Technical knowledge (i.e. database administration and management, software programming, data analysis), I.T. Skills (i.e. advanced R, Python or SQL programming, Excel functionalities, MS Word), Presentation skills (i.e. PowerPoint); Communication Skills (i.e. oral and written); Cognitive Skills (i.e. Logic and Reasoning, Analytical)
