Job Description

We're looking for a Manager who can take full ownership of our credit card platform and help shape the next generation of digital credit experiences. If you're passionate about systems that scale, love solving complex card‑issuing challenges, and thrive in a fast‑moving digital environment, this role puts you at the center of transformation.

What You Will Do:

  • Drive the development roadmap
  • Partner with the Business & Operations Solutions Head to set priorities, identify quick wins, and plan multi‑phase (MVP and beyond) delivery with product owners and cross‑functional teams.
  • Turn requirements into clear execution
  • Develop and finalize BRDs with Business & Operations Solutions, Business Heads, Product, and Tech.
  • Manage delivery timelines
  • Maintain a Product/Tech commitments calendar, track progress, and update business and marketing teams for launch readiness and required comms or T&C changes.
  • Ensure delivery quality
  • Review UAT results against BRDs, raise escalations as needed, and support hypercare to resolve post‑launch issues quickly.
  • Monitor daily system performance
  • Build and maintain an operating dashboard using IDEA to track behaviors, flag anomalies, and escalate outlier performance.
  • Oversee priority feature development, including but not limited to:
  • Card Journeys: secured/unsecured applications, top‑ups, cancellations, supplementary cards, disputes, credit line increases
  • Installments: balance transfer, cash‑out, merchant 0% installment
  • Authorizations: rule tuning, risk‑based controls, merchant/MCC reviews, 2‑way SMS, code updates
  • Repayments & Collections: auto‑debit, QR payments, added channels, PTP capture, restructuring enablement
  • PIN & Servicing: PIN logic updates, cash advance PIN retrieval, geo-based features
  • Rewards & Interchange: reconciliation, clawbacks, cost monitoring
  • Operational Improvements: comms enhancements, underwriting tools, FX tracking, automated membership fee handling
  • Use analytics for smarter decisions
  • Gather insights to improve authorization performance, usage, uptime, and customer experience.
  • Stay ahead of market and regulatory changes
  • Monitor card-market innovations, scheme advisories, and regulatory updates; escalate needed system changes.
  • Enable smooth cross-team execution
  • Coordinate with Product, Tech, and support teams to secure resources and deliver high-quality outcomes on time.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, IT, Engineering, or any related field
  • Hands-on experience in credit card system management, including key lifecycle stages: origination, underwriting, authorizations, billing, collections, and closures
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use transactional data to diagnose issues, validate hypotheses, and guide system improvements
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, especially in cross-functional tech‑business environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Comfortable using or learning Excel, analytics/visualization tools, and basic SQL or similar data querying tools
