Job Description

Job Purpose

The Credit and Collection Regional Head is responsible for evaluating the credit applications of SOGLEs, ensuring efficient payment collection, and maintaining healthy receivables in the assigned region. This role involves close collaboration with core branches, Great Life Stores, Great Life Partners, dealers, and internal stakeholders to enhance collection performance and support business sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Credit and Collection Operations
  • Monitors the accuracy and timely submission of daily collection and deposit reports for all branches within the assigned region.
  • Oversees the credit evaluation and approval process for new SOGLEs in the region.
  • Ensures that documentation and reporting of collections comply with internal controls and audit standards.
  • Tracks and analyzes Collection Efficiency metrics to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Generates daily and monthly Collection Efficiency Reports (CER) using Power BI.
  • Strategy and Process Improvement
  • Develops and implements strategies tailored to specific regions to improve collection rates and reduce overdue accounts.
  • Fosters effective collaboration with dealers from company-owned branches, Great Life Partners, and other dealers to address delinquent accounts.
  • Participates in dealer recruitment activities outside the branch (e.g., Barangayan) to support credit screening and engagement initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Participates in weekly cadence meetings with Commercial Operations to align on performance, challenges, and proposed solutions.
  • Conducts monthly cadence meetings with the Credit and Collection team to promote accountability and drive continuous improvement.
  • Field Visibility and Regional Oversight
  • Maintains a strong presence across branches in the assigned region to ensure operational alignment, reinforce compliance, and support team motivation.
  • Acts as a liaison between the branches and the head office, ensuring alignment of targets, programs, and interventions.
  • People Management and Leadership
  • Leads, coaches, and supervises direct reports (i.e., Happy Customer Retention and Cluster Happy Customer Retention) to achieve both individual and team objectives.
  • Monitors and guides the day-to-day activities of HCRs and Cluster HCRs.
  • Conducts regular performance reviews and feedback sessions to support team development.
  • Conducts regular branch visits to observe operations, coach teams on the ground, and identify process improvement opportunities.

  • Participates actively in team meetings, trainings, and other employee-related activities.
  • Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
