Job Description

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply or with at least 1-2 years of working experience in credit and billing related roles.
  • Experience in banking / financial institution will be an advantage.
  • Knowledgeable in credit assessment / review, and risk evaluation with understanding how to read P&L, financial ratios and Balance Sheet.
  • Must have good Analytical skills
  • Keen to details in gathering of information or data about the customer/client.
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office tools
  • Good communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Familiarity of system tools (SAP, Salesforce, etc.) will be an advantage
  • Must be willing to work on Saturdays, Holidays (rotating shift) and on field.

Job Descriptions:

1. Analyzes credit data and financial statements of (Single proprietor) individuals or (Corporation) businesses to determine the risk involved in extending credit or allowing a credit line to a new or existing customer.

2. For single proprietor individuals, performs research to verify business and other source income, inspects reports from credit reporting agencies/banks, and reviews credit scores.

3. For corporations or businesses, compares to similar businesses in terms of liquidity, profitability, credit histories from vendors, banks, and reviews credit scores. Also, conduct research for any affiliated companies of the applying customer for credit facility.

4. Uses computer software or equivalent credit reports or websites to evaluate customers financial status and produce financial ratios.

5. Compiles information, completes credit applications, and composes credit reports detailing the degree of risk involved in the credit request; recommends approval or denial based on results.

6. Sets computed volume for the recalibration of credit limits based on minimum or maximum terms for customers based on earnings/equity, payment history, and purchase activity.

7. Determines the expected profitability/ volume for the requested credit by analyzing business financial data including quality of management, income growth, and market shares.

8. Identifies delinquent accounts or customers having credit issues through the credit review of customers for single proprietor individuals or businesses (Commercial, IOC, Resellers, Retailers, and the Fleet accounts) customer files.

9. Schedule credit committee meetings as the venue for the credit reviews.

10. Follow up with banks credit status including the validation and authentication of Customer submitted collaterals in the form of Letter of Credit and Standby Letter of Credit.

11. Follow up from Sales and Customers expiring LC or SBLC for renewal

12. Performs other duties as assigned.
