Responsibilities
The Platform Operations team is responsible for driving overall growth of the E-Commerce platform by acquiring, onboarding and incubating sellers, creators and third-party vendors to succeed on platform. This includes providing them with development strategies, educational support and other resources to gain success.
The incumbent will be responsible for developing a playbook that considers brand deals, sponsored content, affiliate content alongside the ability to identify and incubate creator talent that complements the Category Strategy moving forward.
Responsibilities:
OnTrend Insight & Assortment Strategy
- Trend Detection: Leverage deep analysis of the Philippines market landscapeincluding seasonality, cultural moments, and festivalscombined with cross-channel intelligence (search data, competitor benchmarking, and social media trend mapping) to identify and forecast high-potential local trends (e.g., rainy season, local IP phenomena). Deliver actionable, periodic trend reports to inform category product selection and drive marketing strategy.
- Trend Incubation: Architect and execute comprehensive growth strategies for emerging trend products, utilizing traffic acceleration, influencer partnerships, and exclusive campaign initiatives to elevate potential trends into platform-leading opportunities.
- Strategic Brand & Assortment Optimization: Align with OnTrend priorities to pinpoint top-performing brands and highly engaged merchants. Systematically explore and promote in-platform hero products and high-potential SKUs, optimizing assortment for creator-driven live commerce and maximizing local relevance
Livestream Strategic Operations
- Creator & Trend Matching: Strategically pair leading in-platform creators with identified trend themes, crafting trend-responsive live stream scenarios. Curate product assortments by analyzing creator fan demographics and vertical category strengths, ensuring alignment with bestsellers and emerging product opportunities.
- Operational Leadership: Within allocated budgets, lead end-to-end live stream operationsincluding pre-live seeding content, paid media investment, coupon and incentive strategy, budget oversight, and contingency plan to maximize campaign impact
- Performance Optimization: Implement real-time creator performance assessments and continuous improvement initiatives. Drive GMV growth, enhance OnTrend IP recognition among users and merchants, foster enduring partnerships with OnTrend Ambassadors, and maintain high levels of creator satisfaction and retention
IP Mindset & Ecosystem Collaboration
- IP Mentality Building: Design and execute high-impact OnTrend marketing activations (such as festival challenges and influencer showcases), collaborating with IMC teams to amplify trend product visibility and accelerate user engagement and conversion.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with content and ShopTab teams to maximize OnTrend IP exposure and ecosystem integration, ensuring seamless collaboration and strategic alignment across functions.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor s Degree in a related field
- 3+ years working experience focused on the creator and content ecosystem, ideally with experience at other cross platform content, entertainment and social media/influencer platforms or companies or relevant industries
- Strong track record of working across teams, organizational structures, geographies to drive impact
- Proficient in Excel to support data analytics tasks
- Proficient in Powerpoint or Canva to support presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cross-border e-commerce/content e-commerce (e.g., influencer collaboration) or managing Southeast Asian market trend products/IP campaigns
- Knowledge of the Philippines, and Global, social media trends
- Has a wide network of creators
- Has creative agency experience
