About Ikigai Cases

Ikigai Cases is a family-owned e-commerce business selling premium metal pill cases. The business was founded in Washington DC in 2021 by two brothers and has been operated as a family business since then. Over four years, the company has grown to selling thousands of pill cases every month and double-digit team members, including a thriving remote team.

Our mission is simple: to make exceptional pill cases and provide exceptional customer service. We uphold this commitment by managing our fulfillment operations in-house and offering top tier service to our customers.

What You Are Responsible For

We're hiring a Creative Strategist to help power Ikigai's Meta Ads testing system the process that turns insights into high-performing ads that drive profitable growth.

You'll work directly with the Senior Creative Strategist and operate at the center of our creative engine: researching customer psychology, developing new angles and hooks, writing briefs, and ensuring that the creative concepts you craft make it through production exactly as intended.

This is not a media-buying role and not a pure production role. It's for someone who lives and breathes performance creative someone who understands what makes ads convert, and can translate those learnings into clear, testable creative direction.

5 Core Responsibilities

  1. Creative Research & Strategy Conduct market, competitor, and audience research to uncover insights that fuel new ad concepts. Develop hooks, angles, and messaging ideas that align with current offers, product launches, and brand positioning.
  2. Briefing & Scripting Write clear, conversion-focused briefs and scripts for UGC, static, and video ads. Ensure every brief includes a strong hypothesis, key talking points, and examples that guide the creative team toward performance-focused execution.
  3. Testing & Analysis Partner with the Senior Creative Strategist to plan and track weekly creative tests. Review performance data to identify winning patterns, fatigue, and next-step opportunities, maintaining organized documentation of results and insights.
  4. Production Coordination Collaborate with editors, designers, and creators to ensure deliverables match the brief. Review drafts, flag creative gaps, and confirm final outputs reflect the intended message, pacing, and storytelling.
  5. Creator Management Source creators that produce content for the Meta Ads team. Negotiate agreements, send out products, communicate & send follow up messages. Ensure that external creators are producing the assets that are expected of them.

Required Experience

  • 2+ years in Meta Ads creative strategy for e-commerce products
  • Experience working with UGC creators to produce content
  • Experience working with designers and editors to produce content
  • Proven track record of briefing successful Meta Ad concepts.
  • Exceptional briefing and communication skills able to translate raw ideas into clear direction for editors, designers, and creators.

Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)

  • Experience marketing consumer durables with one-time-purchase attributes (not CPG / LTV / subscription brands)
  • Experience with other channels besides Meta: Applovin, YouTube, TikTok, Linear and CTV, Podcast, Influencer, etc.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation: $2000 / mo
  • Work Hours: 50 hours per week, 7AM-5PM EASTERN TIME
  • Paid Holidays: 10 per year
  • PTO: 1 week earned every 6 months
