Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Costing Manager to oversee cost accounting functions and ensure accurate product costing across operations. The role is critical in supporting pricing strategies, profitability analysis, and financial decision-making within a fast-paced F&B or FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee end-to-end product costing, including raw materials, production, and overhead allocation
- Develop and maintain standard costing systems and ensure accuracy of cost data
- Conduct regular cost analysis and variance reporting to identify gaps and recommend improvements
- Partner with operations, procurement, and supply chain teams to optimize cost efficiency
- Support pricing strategies by providing accurate cost insights and margin analysis
- Monitor inventory valuation and ensure proper cost controls are in place
- Lead budgeting and forecasting activities related to cost of goods sold (COGS)
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies
- Drive process improvements to enhance costing accuracy and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
- Proven experience in costing within the F&B or FMCG industry
- Strong background in cost accounting, inventory management, and financial analysis
- Experience with ERP systems and costing tools is an advantage
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
