Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
Project Initiation
Rate Cards and Provisional Contracts Review
- Communicates and highlights the Budget Monitoring Tracker, Rate Cards, General Construction Works Provisional Contract to Budget /Audit Head.
Budget Preparation
Assists the Budget Head on below tasks:
Creation of Initial Budget
- Participates in meetings related to pre-construction activities (Coordinating Division,
Internal & External Relationships)
- Reviews Initial Budget prepared for New Development projects including Redevelopment and Improvement projects based on Design's conceptual/schematic plan for Division Head and Management approval.
Review of Detailed Budget
- Reviews and validates the Detailed Budget prior recommending approval of Division Head.
Cost Control Management
Requisition for Budget Movement
- Assists in the analysis and evaluation of request for Budget Movement in terms of applicability, completeness and validity prior to endorsement to head.
Audit
- Assists in the reviews of the cost performance comparison prepared by the Cost Engineer (CE) prior to Budget/Audit Head's approval
- Plans and implements audit processes and policies
- Prepares reports of found oversights or miscalculations, documents the results of audit evaluations and presents the findings to immediate head
Parametric Costs
- Reviews of the Parametric Costs yearly (for New Mall Development, Redevelopment and Improvements)
Risk Management
- Identifies the potential project and contract risks/issues and recommends possible solutions
- Understands the process and utilizes the standard techniques and tools in risk identification and analysis
- Mitigates risks concerning cost and time in a particular project
Technology Proficiency (product knowledge on SAP, MTWO, SAP HANA)
SAP Creation and Uploading
- Validates the creation and uploading requests vis-a-vis Approved Budget
Regulatory Compliance (Policy Making & Implementation)
- Drafts Policies and Memos necessary for system and process improvement
- Coordinates with policy making body (BPSG, QMS, and or Policy In-charge per Division) for the implementation of the policies and memos
Team Management
- Oversees the day-to-day activities of the Direct Reports
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional license relevant to the field
- Minimum of 5 years related experience
- Master's degree in a related field is an advantage
- COSH (Construction Occupational Safety and Health) certification is an advantage
- Proficient in English communication and writing
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Analytical and logical thinking
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Management and leadership capabilities
