Governance on Cost Accounting & Inventory processes. Leads regular results review with BUs.
Lead and supervise a team responsible for financial closing process for all plants & BUs, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Ensures service delivery within SLA.
Review and validate account reconciliations, and financial statements.
Ensure compliance with company policies, IFRS/GAAP, and local tax regulations.
Coordinate with BU ISC finance to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper documentation.
Analyze variances on actual results, providing insights & recommendation
Prepare consolidated financial reports on cost accounting for total URC.
Main support on internal and external audits and work with the team to provide required documentation and explanations on time.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Collaborate with BU ISC Finance, procurement, and other departments to ensure financial integrity.
Train, mentor, and manage team to enhance knowledge, efficiency, and compliance.
Drive capability building initiatives within costing team & plant finance team.
Back-up of Cost Accounting Analysts & Supervisor as necessary.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA and/ or CMA is preferred.
5 to 7+ years of progressive cost and general accounting experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Experience in an FMCG, plant finance / accounting is a plus.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with strict attention to detail.
Comfortable in fast paced environment and technology changes.
