Inventory accounting
- Raw material ie (Piece Part eg leadframes/wires/lokreel/carrier & cover tape etc) & 3rd party foundry wafer purchases (eg Tower/Vanguard/Silan/Key foundry) monthly accounting and reconciliation, including preparation of inventory schedule in timely manner
- Purchase price variance review and capitalization
- Monthly inventory dummy profit centre assessment (PCA) to product line in SAP
- Provision of inventory (Piece part) & foundry wafer obsolescence and LOCOM
- Purchase commitment if any
- Rebate (eg Vanguard)
- Costing and review of raw material write-offs
- Support Division wafer planning & purchasing for new pricing and process flow
3rd party Subcontractor expense
- Subcontractor reporting
- Monthly subcontractor spending (Day 4- All entry to be posted & Day 5 subcon report)
- Volume & price variance
- Volume rebate
- Subcontractor expense accrual / accrued liabilities accounting (based on GR performed by Planning, gold adders, invoice variance, for year-end statement of account etc)
- Provision and monitoring of expired materials and buy-back if any
- Subcon usages comparison (Day 6)
- Subcontractor sales value (Day 8)
- Inhouse vs outside subcon cost comparison
- Volume rebate
- Review & approve purchase requisitions
- Costing and review of scrap and write-offs
- Review of capital expenditures and ROI
- Creation of PCO and costing for backend DFPC by package
- Costing & variable margin analysis
- Take or Pay (Purchase commitment)
- Support Division Quality to improve Cost of Poor Quality
- Support to Division for any adhoc request
Yearly Strategic planning (SP) and Forecast Exercise
Yearly standard cost setting & revaluation including purchase price review
Quarterly/Half yearly Cycle count and year-end 100% physical inventory
Liaise with internal & external auditor
