Title: Cost Accounting Officer
The
Cost Accounting Officer is responsible for reviewing financial and balance sheet accounts, conducting variance analysis, standard costing, transfer pricing, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Reviews significant variance on major profit & loss and balance sheet accounts.
- Updates system set-up of standard cost and transfer price table.
- Gathers and maintains actual data on manpower costs and operations provision.
- Participates in cross-functional projects within the supply chain and provides insights on financial impact.
- Gathers, validates, and processes data using financial analysis tools.
- Gathers, organizes, and maintains historical data related to budget preparation and identifies one-time off and recurring transactions.
- Gathers and maintains current and historical financial data needed in the preparation of financial reports.
- Track the internal order of the capital expenditure and conduct an inventory count.
Job Qualifications
- A graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent courses.
- With at least three (3) years of work experience in product cost accounting or cost management.
- With at least three (3) years of work experience in production or inventory planning operations in a food manufacturing industry.
- Preferably, a licensed Certified Public Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor
- Possess good communication skills, both oral and written, as well as leadership skills.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision, attentive to details, and able to think outside the box
- Must be willing to work on a hybrid setup in Canlubang, Laguna.
