Job Summary
We are urgently looking for a Cost Accounting Manager to lead and manage cost accounting functions within our organization. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in restaurants, food manufacturing, or FMCG industries, with deep expertise in costing, variance analysis, and financial controls. This role is critical in driving cost efficiency and supporting strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee cost accounting operations, including inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS)
- Perform and analyze cost and variance reporting (material, labor, overhead)
- Develop and maintain standard costing systems and procedures
- Monitor production costs and identify areas for cost optimization
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and finance teams for cost analysis and control
- Ensure accuracy of inventory accounting and reconciliations
- Lead budgeting and forecasting for cost-related components
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Prepare financial reports and provide insights to senior management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – non-negotiable
- At least 5–8 years of experience in cost accounting or finance
- Required background in restaurants, food manufacturing, or FMCG industry
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, standard costing, and COGS
- Proven experience in variance analysis and cost control
- Experience with ERP systems and inventory management tools
- Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Experience managing a team or leading finance functions
- Exposure to process improvements and cost optimization initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills
