Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cost Accountant located in Muntinlupa City. The Cost Accountant plays a critical role in managing and optimizing product costing by analyzing cost components and identifying variances. This position supports strategic decision-making through accurate cost reporting, profitability analysis, and data-driven insights for pricing, budgeting, and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and control product costs, including direct materials, direct labor, and manufacturing overhead, to ensure accuracy and efficiency in cost management.
• Perform detailed variance analysis by comparing standard costs against actual costs, and provide clear explanations and actionable recommendations to management.
• Prepare comprehensive cost and profitability reports by product line, project, or customer order to support strategic business decisions.
• Provide accurate, timely, and relevant cost data to assist in pricing strategies, budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is an advantage
• With 2–4 years of relevant experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or garments environment
• Strong background in cost analysis, inventory reconciliation, and variance reporting
• Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel and experienced in using ERP and accounting systems
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively across departments
