Corporate Quality Assurance Assistant (Conformance)

As CorpQuality Assurance Assistant (Conformance) you will be in-charge of the following duties and responsibilities:

1. Quality Management Systems

A. Assist in the creation and periodic updating of SPAVI's Food Safety Management Systems based on current industry standards and mandatory requirements.

B. Prepares specifications and documents supporting the improvement of the quality and food safety management system, using inputs based on observed day-to-day operations.

2. Material Evaluation

A. Conducts physical tests on food-contact packaging materials and determines suitability to its intended use.

B. Assists in shelf-life validation studies to confirm stability and safety

3. Raw Material Inspection and Verification

A. Conducts quality inspections for inbound and outbound activities at the warehouse

B. Performs sampling of raw materials through basic sensory and physico-chemical tests to confirm conformance to set specifications

C. Reviews micro- and chemical laboratory analyses results, including migration tests, to qualify materials

4. Continual Improvement

• A. Ensures proper communication of changes in standard or set specifications to internal (stores) and external (suppliers, storage providers, trucking service providers) partners.

Qualifications

Work Experience:

-1 to 4 years in the Quality Assurance field in an established Foodservice, Food Manufacturing, or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods company

-Knowledgeable in food safety management systems and standards GMP, GWP, HACCP, ISO 22000:2018

-Experience in cold chain quality management, warehouse operations QA

Work Location: Corporate Support Office, Warehouse and Field Work. Must be willing to travel and work in multiple locations

Others:

-Must be willing start work at 4 or 5AM during warehouse duty

-Knowledge: FSQMS, sensory evaluation, food laboratory tests, GWP

-Skills: Technical documentation, Investigating skills, Problem-solving, good comprehension, proficient in MS Office
