Position Title: Corporate Management Accountant
Location: Taguig City, Metro Manila – 2 days per week onsite
Role Purpose
NCC Group has an exciting opportunity for a highly driven and ambitious Corporate Management Accountant to support our Global Finance team. You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent analytical and numerical abilities with a high level of accuracy and a keen eye for detail. Being a team player is critical as you will be part of the Global Finance Team responsible for preparing the consolidated financial results of the business whilst supporting other areas of Group Finance and the wider business.
This role will primarily manage the US corporate month-end process, while contributing significantly to Workday improvement projects and supporting additional ad hoc initiatives. You will also be responsible for the delivery of timely and accurate financial information to the Senior Finance Manager, which the role reports into.
Summary
As Corporate Management Accountant, you will be expected to perform the following:
- Preparation of the US corporate management accounts
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including investigation and clearance of any matters identified
- Reconciliation of intergroup balances while working closely with the wider NCC Group Finance team to ensure all variances are fully cleared at each periodend
- Assist the UK Corporate Management Accountant and Senior Finance Manager as required with other month end tasks and to help ensure Group monthly reporting pack is sent out in accordance with agreed timetable
- Complete the weekly cash flow forecast for the corporate bank accounts
- Collaborate with the wider Group Finance, FP&A, Payroll and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and accuracy
- Act as key point of contact for delivery of information to external auditors and internal audit team
- Assist with preparing information for population in RNS and Annual Report and Accounts
- Adopt the mind-set of continuous improvement to slicken existing processes and get the best out of the Workday ERP system
- Act as a key point of contact for Workday improvement projects
- Drive and contribute to process improvement initiatives across the NCC Global Finance team
- Support various ad hoc projects as needed
What we are looking for in you
- Qualified accountant with excellent technical accounting skills
- Fully conversant with Microsoft Office products, with a particular requirement for strong Excel skills, and proactively seek opportunities to enhance technical capability
- Will be comfortable working a large company environment, working to tight deadlines and responding to the needs of the business on a timely basis
- NCC Group is a global business, so you be required to build effective working relationships with local finance representatives, the wider Global Finance team and key stakeholders across the Group. Strong interpersonal skills are therefore a requirement for the role
- Have a proactive mind-set and be a natural self-starter
- Able to present complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities
