Job Overview

We are looking for a highly strategic, media-savvy Corporate Communications Manager to lead the company's public relations, corporate communications, and brand reputation efforts. This role is critical in positioning the company as a trusted name in the online sports and entertainment space. The ideal candidate has substantial experience in public relations, media relations, crisis management, and corporate storytelling preferably within the sports, gaming, entertainment, or digital media industries.

Key Responsibilities

Public Relations & Media Relations

  • Lead PR strategy and communication plans to strengthen brand visibility and credibility.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, press, influencers, sports communities, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Manage media interviews, press conferences, and public appearances for executives and spokespersons.
  • Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and official statements.

Corporate Communications

  • Develop and manage all corporate communication materials, including announcements, internal memos, newsletters, and executive messaging.
  • Define and maintain the company's tone of voice and communication guidelines across all platforms.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging across marketing, PR, digital channels, and partner communications.

Reputation & Crisis Management

  • Oversee corporate reputation management and address sensitive issues swiftly and professionally.
  • Prepare crisis communication plans and act as the primary contact for critical incidents.
  • Monitor public sentiment, media coverage, and brand mentions.

Campaigns & Content Strategy

  • Lead storytelling initiatives around sports culture, brand identity, and community engagement.
  • Work closely with marketing, digital, and product teams to develop PR-driven campaigns that support growth and brand affinity.
  • Conceptualize content (articles, interviews, features, social PR content) that highlights achievements, partnerships, and new projects.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and sports ambassadors to amplify communication initiatives.
  • Manage communication with regulators and key institutional partners when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related fields.
  • Minimum 710 years of experience in PR, media relations, or corporate communications.
  • Experience in sports, online sports entertainment, gaming, or media industries is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent storytelling, writing, and editing skills.
  • Strong network of media contacts, especially in sports and digital media.
  • Proven experience handling crisis communication and high-pressure situations.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to manage executives and act as spokesperson when needed.
  • Highly strategic, organized, and capable of leading a communications team.
