Corporate Accountant

The Role:

We're seeking a Corporate Accountant. This role is designed for a detail-oriented accounting professional who can maintain financial health through accurate journal entries, ledger reconciliations, and support for month-end and year-end close processes. You'll play a key role in ensuring financial integrity across the organization, reporting directly to the Controller and collaborating across departments on close processes, project accounting, and audit support.

Location: Must be in The Philippines – Remote.

Environment: Philippines and International Teams.

Language: Advanced English (B2+ - C1).

Timezone: Monday to Friday – 9AM-6PM MST.

Contract: Full Time

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 2–4 years of accounting experience.
• Skills: Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, SUMIFs, etc.).
• Characteristics: Strong analytical abilities, excellent written/verbal communication, and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and analyze variances as part of month-end close.
• Complete work-in-process project reconciliations and support project managers in closing out projects.
• Assist with accounts payable functions as needed.
• Support external audit processes by preparing year-end account reconciliations and pulling requested documentation.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows, improve internal controls, and assist with other accounting projects/reporting as needed.
