Job Description


Connext is looking for a Corporate Accountant to support corporate accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities for a U.S.-based organization. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, corporate accounting experience, and expertise in journal entries, reconciliations, financial analysis, and reporting.

Job Description

• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes.

• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, intercompany transactions, financing activities, and other accounting adjustments.

• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations; analyze account activity and resolve discrepancies.

• Review general ledger activity and financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and proper classification.

• Support corporate financial reporting, account analysis, and ad hoc reporting requirements.

• Ensure transactions comply with U.S. GAAP, company policies, and internal controls.

• Maintain fixed asset schedules, support debt schedule preparation, and review capitalization requirements.

• Assist with audit preparation, tax support, and financial documentation.

• Collaborate with accounting teams and stakeholders on accounting projects and process improvement initiatives.

Screening Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliations.

• Experience supporting multi-entity accounting environments preferred.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, lookup functions, formulas, Power Query, and data analysis.

• Experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred (Microsoft Dynamics GP, Sage Intacct, Coupa, Solver, or similar).

• Stable employment history.

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and corporate accounting principles.

• Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, financial schedules, and account analyses.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

11:00 PM – 8:00 AM PH Time | Monday–Friday
