Job Description
We are looking for a creative and passionate Copywriter with experience in gaming content creation. This role will craft compelling, player-focused copy that enhances community engagement, game promotions, and digital campaigns. You will work closely with designers, marketers, and community managers to ensure all messaging resonates with gamers and strengthens the brands presence across digital platforms.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Write engaging copy for websites, social media, email campaigns, push notifications, in-game promotions, and marketing materials with a gaming audience in mind.
- Collaborate with designers, marketing, and community teams to develop campaign concepts and story-driven messaging.
- Ensure consistency in brand tone and voice across all channels.
- Research gaming trends, player behavior, and competitor campaigns to craft relevant content.
- Edit and proofread content for clarity, grammar, and engagement.
- Support scriptwriting for game trailers, livestreams, influencer content, or video campaigns.
- Contribute ideas for game launch campaigns, events, and in-game storytelling.
- Manage multiple content projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred.
- At least 1 year of copywriting experience, ideally with gaming, esports, or entertainment brands.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and player engagement strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to adapt tone and messaging for gaming audiences across platforms.
- Familiarity with SEO, CMS platforms, analytics tools, and digital marketing best practices.
- Passion for gaming, pop culture, and player communities.
