The missionYour mission is to own the financial operating system. You ensure financials are accurate, timely, and decision-ready, with clear cash visibility and enforced controls, without requiring constant leadership involvement.
What you will do- Own monthly close and deliver accurate financials on a consistent schedule.
- Ensure all accounts are reconciled and audit-ready.
- Maintain clear tracking of owner expenses.
- Prepare board-ready financial summaries with variances and cash implications.
- Build and maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast.
- Surface liquidity risks and tradeoffs early.
- Own inventory finance and open-to-buy controls.
- Review open-to-buy monthly with Supply Chain and approve or block purchasing.
- Design and enforce financial controls and approval workflows.
- Own AR and AP systems and performance.
- Direct and review the work of the Accountant.
- Improve AR procedures to support cash timing.
- Coordinate sales tax obligations and R&D tax tracking.
- Audit key vendor invoices and charges as needed.
