The Contracts Administrator / Contracts Engineer supports the preparation, review, and administration of contracts for the Prime Infra's Hydropower Pumped Storage Project. The role ensures that contracts are properly managed, documented, and implemented in accordance with project requirements and company standards.
The position works closely with project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to monitor compliance with contractual obligations, address contract-related issues, and support the overall delivery of the project.
Key Responsibilities
Contracts Preparation and Processing
Develop, review, and maintain contract templates and related documentation.
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and evaluating contracts, agreements, and project-related submissions.
Support the preparation of tender and procurement documentation including requests for proposals and contractual requirements.
Participate in the evaluation of bids and proposals from a contractual and commercial standpoint.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure that required contractual arrangements are prepared in a timely manner.
Contracts Administration
Administer assigned project contracts and monitor contractor performance in accordance with contractual terms and conditions.
Provide guidance to project teams regarding contract provisions, obligations, and compliance requirements.
Maintain organized and accurate records of contracts, amendments, correspondence, and related documentation.
Track key contractual milestones, deliverables, expiration dates, and renewal requirements.
Coordinate contract reviews and approvals with internal teams including legal, finance, and project management.
Contract Compliance and Monitoring
Monitor compliance with contract terms, technical requirements, and project specifications.
Identify potential contractual risks, issues, or deviations and recommend appropriate actions or mitigation measures.
Support the management and evaluation of variation orders, change requests, and contractual claims.
Assist in resolving contract-related issues and support dispute avoidance and resolution efforts.
Reporting and Coordination
Prepare regular updates and reports on contract status, compliance, risks, and key issues.
Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams to ensure alignment on contractual matters.
Support management in ensuring proper governance and adherence to project contract management processes.
Other Duties
Perform additional tasks as required to support the successful execution of the project and address evolving operational or contractual needs.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), Construction Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
At least 4–7 years of experience in contract administration, contracts engineering, or related roles in infrastructure, energy, or construction projects.
Experience in hydropower, renewable energy, or large infrastructure projects is an advantage.
Good understanding of contract management and procurement processes.
Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficient in MS Office and document or contract management tools.
Able to work in a project site environment and manage multiple contract tasks.
Flexible to conduct frequent site visits to project locations in Rizal and Laguna as required.
