How You Will Make Your Impact

  • Negotiate simple to complex customer and vendor agreements including cloud
  • terms of service, licensing, co-marketing and resale, resale and distribution licenses,
  • renewals, and ancillary relationship agreements
  • Assess underlying transaction risk and provide practical solutions to remediate
  • client commercial and legal exposure as part of a broader support team
  • Develop efficient processes and solutions to scale an effective risk management
  • function appropriate for growth companies
  • Apply independent judgment and effectively leverage internal resources, processes
  • and playbooks in all aspects of client service
  • Review performance results and development opportunities with modCounsel
  • clients
  • Analyze laws, regulations and contract trends to determine potential impact on

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in contract management, negotiations, analysis, or playbook management for both vendor and client engagements
  • Proven negotiation skills, and are comfortable dealing with all levels of our organization
  • Ability to propose near term and long-term business process improvements and make strategic recommendations for the end-to-end contract cycle
  • Strong organizational, project management, and execution skills
  • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks, and manage competing priorities effectively and independently, including driving results and delivering to deadlines and budgets
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a growing team and cross functionally
  • Strong interpersonal skills, team-oriented attitude, and superior attention to detail
  • Technology-savvy skills proficient in all Google and Microsoft applications
