JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking aContract Administratorto join our Construction Phase Services team. The role is responsible for administering construction contracts on behalf of the project owners -our clients - and supporting our project managers in ensuring that construction works are delivered in accordance with the conditions of contract, owner's requirements, programme, cost, and quality obligations.

The Contract Administrator is a key part of our project management team during the construction phase, performing formal contract administration duties, making sure the contractual mechanisms are being followed by all parties, managing contractual communications, monitoring contractor compliance, and supporting the timely resolution of claims, variations, risks, and issues.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer the Contract in accordance with the applicable Conditions of Contract (such as but not limited to FIDIC Red, Yellow, or Silver Books) and project-specific requirements on behalf of the Client.

  • Ensure the Contractor's compliance with contractual obligations, including insurances, bonds, permits, programmes, and statutory requirements.

  • Monitor and manage contractual correspondence, notices, determinations, approvals, and instructions in line with contractual procedures and timelines.

  • Monitor and ensure that contractual mechanisms are complied with by all parties.

Qualifications & experience

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline

  • Proven experience in contract administration or construction management roles, preferably acting on behalf of a Client/Owner or Engineer/Consultanton infrastructure, energy, or major projects

  • Working knowledge of FIDIC or equivalent standard forms of contract, with practical experience in construction-phase administration

  • Formal training in FIDIC Contracts is a plus

  • Strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and stakeholder communication skills

Technical and professional skills

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, change management, claims, and commercial administration.

  • Ability to interpret contract provisions and apply them in a practical, fair, and timely manner.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly for formal contractual correspondence and reporting.

  • High level of organisation, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining auditable contract records.

This role may be based inMakati or Quezon City, depending on your home location.
