Role Description

SMARTHOUSE Corporation is seeking a full-time Site Engineer to support construction projects across Luzon, with the head office located in Quezon City. This on-site role requires flexibility to work at various project locations and oversee the implementation of construction and smart home systems.

The Site Engineer will ensure that all projects are executed according to approved designs, technical specifications, and safety standards while coordinating closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the technical aspects of construction projects, particularly those involving the installation and integration of SMARTHOUSE Corporation systems
  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring work complies with approved plans, specifications, and safety standards
  • Serve as the liaison between office and field teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment among all stakeholders
  • Manage contractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to maintain productivity and efficiency
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards to ensure successful project delivery
  • Identify, assess, and resolve on-site issues promptly and effectively
  • Enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support company operations

  • Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
    • At least two (2) years of experience in construction or site/project engineering, particularly in electrical systems, smart home technologies, or building construction
    • Experience in large-scale residential, commercial, or smart home integration projects is an advantage
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required
    • Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, First Aid) are an advantage
    • Strong knowledge of construction processes and electrical installation systems
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage teams and coordinate with stakeholders
    • Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
    • Proficiency in construction software and project management tools is a plus
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative work environment
