Content Marketing Manager
As a Content Marketing Manager, you'll have great ideas and produce engaging, thumb-stopping social content. You'll be in the know re social trends, have an ear for trending sounds and fluent in engaging memes.
Collaborating closely with the rest of the organization, you'll play a lead role in idea generation, you'll shoot and produce the content so it's platform ready.
You will work alongside a group of passionate colleagues and varied personalities to create the best content that's culturally relevant, engaging and gets the nation talking.
My client is an affiliate marketing platform that enables anyone with a social media footprint to monetize their networks. Current subscribers / users earn more via the platform than they do in their day job.
The message is clear. The story is an exciting one to tell. You will be the person to help deliver how the message and to make sure everyone gets the opportunity to hear about it.
You will:
- Create content that stops people scrolling, catches the attention and gets them to want to hear more.
- Spearhead the ideation, creation, and curation of visually compelling content, including photos, graphics, videos, and other multimedia assets
- Develop and implement strategic social media plans to drive audience growth, enhance brand awareness, and nurture meaningful connections with our community
- Grow presence across social media channels: including Pinterest, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram & TikTok
- Storyboard, lead and deliver creative ideas for social in line with brand strategy and guidelines, creating memorable content that gets the nation talking
- Develop the end-to-end creative, from initial idea right through to final asset production, even producing & maybe starring in your own videos.
- Create for all of the major social channels including TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn etc
- Turn content into a volume of clips, gifs, graphics, photos, stories, copy, etc
- Create content that directly resonates with the target audience
- Be a brainstormer. Promote idea creation discussions and create weird and wonderful engaging content that catches the eye and imagination.
- Create, design and edit online TV channel shows. Maybe even star in them if you are an aspiring host.
- Stay ahead of the latest social media trends, and proactively leverage them to increase brand visibility and engagement across various social platforms
- Monitor and analyze the performance of visual content and social media initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimize future strategies and content development
You are:
- Experienced as a Content Creator or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful visual content creation and social media management
- A genuine passion for social media and an ability to think outside the box, up on latest trends and incorporating them into fresh content strategies.
- Someone who is excited by social content and loves creating for these channels
- Knowledge of what great social content looks like and what gets people talking
- Experience shooting and editing content on a phone
- Familiarity with photography, video editing software and the latest apps to create and edit captivating visuals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an innate ability to engage and connect with our audience
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects
- Knowledge and a genuine passion of time-saving AI technology
- Knowledge and experience with the content creation formats out there. For example: Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite & design templates in Canva or Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, TikTok, Instagram, FB Live, etc
