What will you do

As Talent Sourcing Consultant, you will be responsible in proving end-to-end recruitment support to assigned business unit. You also drive initiatives and projects that will bring value to the kind of recruitment experience being provided with hiring managers and candidates. Here are the key things you will do to bring ideas to life.

Market Research & Talent Insights

  • Conduct in-depth market mapping and research to identify talent pools, industry trends, and competitor insights.
  • Create an ongoing talent-mapping strategy thru market research
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to Recruitment Consultants and Hiring Managers on candidate availability, sourcing challenges, and market opportunities.
  • Provide salary data recommendation and execute tactical research supported by factual data
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of recruitment trends, sourcing tools, and platforms.
  • Share expert knowledge on effective attraction strategies and sourcing channels (headhunting, job boards, referrals, university engagement)

Talent Sourcing & Engagement

  • Conduct passive sourcing and build relationships with passive and active candidates through various channels (LinkedIn, job boards, networking, referrals, etc.) for strategic and critical roles only
  • Develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical and future roles.
  • Engage candidates with Aurecon's EVP and employer brand, ensuring a positive experience at every stage.

Collaboration & Partnering

  • Work in close partnership with Talent Acquisition Consultants to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
  • Share market insights and talent availability to influence recruitment strategies.
  • Support end-to-end recruitment activities like phone interviews and etc as when only needed.

Projects & Initiatives

  • Participate in and lead sourcing-related projects, such as talent mapping for new markets, diversity hiring campaigns, or employer branding activities.
  • Collaborate on continuous improvement projects to enhance sourcing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to reporting and analytics on sourcing performance and talent pipelines.

What can you bring to the team

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:

  • 6-8+ years experience in global or multi-regional talent sourcing, research, or recruitment (in-house or agency).

  • Proven experience in market research, talent mapping, and delivering insights to inform hiring decisions.

  • Proficiency in sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Talent Insights, HireVue, Workday).

  • Strong expertise in Boolean search and advanced sourcing strategies.

  • Ability to analyze data and present clear, actionable market insights.

  • Experience working on projects such as employer branding, diversity hiring, or workforce planning.

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage global teams and passive candidates.
