As a Project Manager at Hive Modular, your role will include the following:
Project Management and Execution
- Lead and oversee production projects from planning to completion.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Team Leadership and Coordination
- Manage interdisciplinary teams, including architects, designers, and engineers.
- Chair weekly production review meetings to ensure project alignment.
- Foster a collaborative and solution-oriented team culture.
Procurement and Vendor Management
- Oversee the acquisition of materials and services needed for project execution.
- Ensure cost-effective procurement strategies while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to optimize costs and delivery timelines.
Budgeting and Financial Oversight
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Track expenses and analyze financial reports to maintain cost control.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize project spending.
Process Optimization and Compliance
- Implement best practices in construction and manufacturing project management.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Identify opportunities for improving workflow and operational efficiency.
Communication and Collaboration
- Work closely with the executive team, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Provide clear and timely updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external project communications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management within the construction and/or manufacturing industry.
- Experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams managing complex technical projects.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
