Job description:
As a Construction Mechanical Engineer at Design Coordinates, Inc., you will play a vital role in overseeing the mechanical systems and infrastructure of our construction projects in Metro Manila. This full-time position requires on-site presence and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.
What we're looking for
- Must be a graduate with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Must be a Licensed Mechanical Engineer
- With a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Engineer in the construction industry.
- Knowledgeable in MEFPS and HVAC work.
- Must have 3+ years of experience in MEFPS systems.
- Must have 3+ years of experience in HVAC systems.
- Having experience in elevator and escalator maintenance is a plus.
- With experience in construction management and experience handling high-rise residential buildings
- The applicant who can start ASAP will be given high priority.
- Must be willing to work within Metro Manila
What you'll be doing
- Responsible and focused on the technical details of mechanical, fire protection, plumbing, and electrical works of the Project
- Attends and may conduct site meetings.
- Inspects the project's mechanical, fire protection, plumbing, and electrical components.
- Monitors the quality assurance and inspection work being conducted by the Contractors Quality Control
- Conducts regular project walk-throughs together with the contractor to check on the progress of works and spot potential problems in terms of mechanical, fire protection, plumbing, and electrical make-up
- Handles the Design Addenda, Construction Manager's Instructions (CMI's), Requests for Information (RFI's), Substitution Requests, and the like in cases necessary for proper contract management
- Handles the evaluation of work accomplished by contractors
