Construction Estimator

Great estimating starts with getting the details right.

Our client is looking for a responsible, organized Construction Estimator with strong experience in estimating and quantity takeoffs. You'll review construction drawings, prepare accurate estimates, gather vendor pricing, and support the estimating process from start to finish.

What You'll Do

• Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Prepare takeoffs based on project requirements.
• Submit RFPs to vendors and follow up on pricing.
• Submit RFIs to clients to clarify project details.
• Review vendor pricing and incorporate costs into estimates.
• Apply a basic understanding of electrical and lighting systems when estimating.
• Maintain accurate, organized estimating documentation.
• Use STACK, Bluebeam, or similar estimating/takeoff software.
• Communicate professionally with vendors, clients, and internal teams.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience in construction estimating and quantity takeoffs
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Experience with RFPs and RFIs
• Basic understanding of electrical and lighting systems
• Experience with STACK, Bluebeam, or similar software
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities
