You own the financial integrity of multi-million dollar construction projects from initiation through closeout. You are not a bookkeeper; you are a project finance specialist responsible for managing structured workflows including pay applications, lien waivers, and cost-to-complete reporting. You eliminate financial risk by ensuring GAAP compliance and protecting the project's cash flow through disciplined coordination with Project Managers and external subcontractors.

This is a high-accountability role that exists to fuel the development momentum of a leading U.S. real estate firm. Best suited for accounting professionals who thrive in structured night-shift environments, value technical rigor, and prefer clear operational metrics over ambiguity.

You're Likely a Strong Fit If You Have

• 3+ years of experience in construction or project accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Proficiency with GAAP, and experience with Vista by Viewpoint or similar ERP systems
• Previous experience in international roles for U.S.-based companies strongly preferred

Project Lifecycle Governance

You own the financial heartbeat of assigned developments, ensuring compliance at every stage.

• Manage the full cycle of project financials, from job setup and budget entry to final closeout.
• Oversee the review and processing of subcontractor pay applications and vendor invoices.
• Ensure all insurance certificates and lien waivers are collected and validated before disbursements.

Financial Reporting & Data Integrity

You transform complex project data into audit-ready records that drive leadership decision-making.

• Execute monthly cost-to-complete reporting and budget-to-actual variance analysis.
• Maintain Single Source of Truth accuracy in Vista by Viewpoint, ensuring all project ledgers are clean and current.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure accurate revenue recognition and project forecasting.

Compliance & Stakeholder Collaboration

You act as the primary bridge between financial standards and operational execution.

• Partner closely with U.S.-based Project Managers to resolve billing queries and budget overrides.
• Ensure all project accounting activities comply with internal controls and U.S. statutory requirements.
• Drive process enhancements that reduce revisions and clarification loops during the monthly close cycle.
