Job Summary: The CAD Operator will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by architects and engineers. The CAD Operator will have a strong attention to detail, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to bring projects to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Produce rough sketches and use CAD software to prepare detailed drawings, as-built plans, and blueprints
- Visiting sites to gather information, and determine limitations and feasibility of designs.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to understand project objectives and requirements.
- Interpret sketches, rough drawings, and specifications to create precise CAD drawings.
- Make necessary adjustments to drawings as directed by project managers or senior team members
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Architecture, or any related field
- At least one (2) years technical work experience as a CAD Operator in a construction company
- Knowledge of engineering practices and methods
- Ability to read and understand construction plans
- Knowledge of/skills in CAD software
- Attention to detail
